After introducing them last year, we are happy to confirm that once again a very limited number of pitches in our Orchard Camping area will be available.
Orchard Camping tickets cost £30 per tent. This gets you a guaranteed minimum pitch space of a 10m x 7m. The spaces are allocated (you can choose them when you purchase your tickets). This means you can book multiple pitches next to each other if you would like to have a group of families together.
The Orchard Camping area is a beautiful and secluded little space, conveniently located less than 100m from the car park, and your Orchard Camping ticket will also reserve you one car parking space, close to the entrance. So although you cannot drive to the Orchard Camping area, you will not have to walk more than 200m with your gear. The area does not have its own toilets, showers or water point, but the nearest shared facilities are only about 200m away.
There will only be 15 of these spaces available, so in addition to your guaranteed camping pitch, there will plenty of room for the kids to run around in.
Some Important Points:
Each pitch may contain only ONE tent. There is no limit on the size of the tent, so long as it fits completely within your allocated pitch.
You may also pitch a gazebo or small two man tent for the kids, or similar, so long as everything it fits within your allocated pitch.
When you arrive at the festival, please tell the car parking stewards that you have an Orchard Camping ticket. They will then direct you to park in an area close to the festival entrance.
Once you’re parked up, make your way, following signs, into the festival site, walking down the hill towards the ticketing tent. The Orchard Camping field is located on your left, about 100m down hill from the car park. You can head straight in, showing you ticket to the steward if required, find your allocated pitch, and get settled in. When you are ready to enter the festival, you can make your way to the ticketing tent, located another 100m or so down the hill, and exchange your tickets for festival wristbands. You will also be given a tag to display on the outside of your tent. Once pitched, please make sure that this tag is clearly visible on the outside of your tent.
An Orchard Camping ticket is not a festival ticket. These must be purchased separately.
There is no limit to how many people you can have within your tent. The ticket is for a tent pitch, regardless of the number of occupants.
All other festival terms and conditions apply and we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that this is still a shared space within a family festival so we politely request, as in all the other camping areas of the festival, that you are courteous to your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, especially through the night.
How to Book:
Please note; you can only select your pitch when purchasing Orchard Camping tickets via a desktop computer.
To choose your Orchard Camping pitch, click “Buy on map”. The pitch plan will load. Once loaded you will see the remaining available pitches and sometimes a default pitch selected. You can unselect the pre-selected pitch if you wish and choose the one(s) you would like. Then click “Check Out” and follow the payment instructions.
Make sure you bring your e-ticket, either on your phone, tablet or printed out with you when you come to the festival in May.
